Georgia Perimeter College Native Plant Botanical Garden

Today I visited Georgia Perimeter College's Native Plant Botanical Garden...

they had several different variteites of Echinacea

















Lantana and Amsonia - such a great texture..






Callicarpa... still green... it will be purple soon!!

The Fern collection is amazing! It's such a treat to walk through.










































There are a couple of areas in the fern garden with big boulders planted with ferns and covered in moss.

I took my lunch and had a picnic.. fresh greens.. yumm.

































Ohhh. and you can't see it very well in this picture.. but across the street is a Sara Lee Bakery... so don't visit the garden hungry... the smell of bread baking permeates the garden. It's a sweet, sweet aroma - but it could distract you if you haven't had lunch ;).
