I'm going to post several posts with photos of our veggie beds. In late February Jody and I decided to make veggie beds in our garden this year. There was a sunny spot beside our deck where we had always intended to expand the deck and had not so it had not been planted - and we thought "hey.. why not build veggie beds?" ;). So that's what we did. Jody designed and built the frames of the beds. And he did an amazing job - I'm so proud.

We got free compost from Dekalb County and filled them up. Over the course of several weekends we completed the project. Now we have veggies growing like weeds. Thankfully we've had a lot of rain.. and sooner than you know it we will have all sorts of vegetables to harvest. Start at the bottom of the photos and scroll up to see our progress.
